Immerse yourself in an authentic and timeless experience with this 3-day, 2-night tour departing from Foum Zguid. Riding a camel, you'll share the traditional nomadic lifestyle and discover a wild desert far from the traditional tourist trails. Between bivouacs under the stars, unspoiled landscapes, and friendly encounters, this immersion will allow you to experience the Sahara in all its authenticity.
Circuit route
Day 1: Foum Zguid – Erg El M'Hazil – Wild bivouac
Departure in the early afternoon from Foum Zguid by 4x4 towards the dunes of Erg El M'Hazil. Meet the camel drivers and begin the nomadic experience. Set up a bivouac in the heart of nature with traditional tents and Berber rugs. Dinner under the stars, moments of sharing around the fire, life stories and Saharan music. Night under the stars or in a tent, according to your wishes.
Day 2: Erg El M'Hazil – Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi
Wake up to the sunrise and have breakfast. Departure by camel across the dunes to a family-run guesthouse near the dried-up Lake Iriki. A free afternoon awaits to enjoy the serenity of the desert. A guided tour of the village of Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi, featuring its oasis, the tomb of the marabout Sidi Abdenabi, and historical remains. In the evening, enjoy a sunset over the Saharan plains, followed by a convivial dinner around the fire with the nomadic team.
Day 3: Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi – Foum Zguid
Breakfast and then return to Foum Zguid by 4x4 via the tracks. Along the way, discover a fossil site. Arrival in Foum Zguid is planned for late morning.
