Embark on a 4-day Saharan adventure from Foum Zguid, featuring spectacular dunes, nomadic encounters, and traditional bivouacs. This tour takes you to the heart of Iriki National Park, between Erg El M'Hazil and Erg El Ghoul, for a total immersion in the magic of the Moroccan Sahara.
Circuit route
Day 1: Foum Zguid – Erg El M'Hazil
Welcome to Foum Zguid and departure by 4x4 towards the tajine-shaped mountains and a fossil site. Crossing the dried-up lake of Iriki before arriving at the Bivouac Les Nomades camp. Walk to the top of the dunes to admire the sunset, traditional dinner and musical evening around the fire. Night in bivouac.
Day 2: Bivouac Les Nomades – Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi – Nomad school
After breakfast, depart for a day of safari: visit the ancient ksar of Zaouiat, discover the nomadic oasis and observe the Saharan fauna. Lunch in the oasis of Lagrizima, then visit a nomadic school. Return to the bivouac at the end of the day, dinner and overnight in a tent.
Day 3: Camel trekking to Erg El Ghoul
Early morning departure for a camel trek across the dunes to Erg El Ghoul, nicknamed "the dune of ghosts." A day of exploration and Saharan activities in the heart of the deep desert. Setting up a wild camp in the middle of the dunes, dinner, and a night under the stars.
Day 4: Erg El Ghoul – Foum Zguid
After breakfast, depart by 4x4 for the return to Foum Zguid. Arrival in the late morning.
