Description
Embark on an unforgettable journey to the heart of the Sahara with this 2-day tour departing from Ouarzazate. Between mountains, Saharan trails, and majestic dunes, you'll discover the unique landscapes of southeastern Morocco and experience an authentic desert immersion.
Circuit route
Day 1: Ouarzazate – Taznakht – Foum Zguid – Erg Chegaga
Departure in the morning from Ouarzazate towards Erg Chegaga, passing through Taznakht and then Foum Zguid, the last stop before the Sahara. From there, the real adventure begins on the desert trails: discovery of the tagine-shaped mountains, impressive fossils and the dried-up lake of Iriki. Arrival at the dunes of Erg Chegaga at the end of the day. Installation in a traditional camp, typical dinner and evening animated by music around the fire under the starry sky of the desert.
Day 2: Erg Chegaga – Lake Iriki – Foum Zguid – Ouarzazate
Wake up to the sunrise over the dunes, followed by breakfast at the bivouac. Return by 4x4 via the dried-up Lake Iriki to Foum Zguid, where you can enjoy a coffee or tea break in the friendly atmosphere of the small town. Drive to Ouarzazate, arriving in the afternoon.
