Circuit route
Day 1: Agadir – Taroudant – Taliouine – Taznakht – Foum Zguid – Erg Chegaga
Depart early in the morning from your hotel in Agadir for Taroudant, nicknamed "Little Marrakech." Visit its ancient kasbah, ramparts, and lively souks, then drive to Taliouine, the Moroccan capital of saffron.
Continue to Taznakht, a town renowned for its Berber carpets, before arriving in Foum Zguid, the gateway to the Sahara. Lunch there, then embark on the legendary Paris-Dakar Rally trail across the dried-up Lake Iriki. Along the way: discover fossils, astonishing tagine-shaped mountains, and desert landscapes all the way to the Chegaga dunes. Settle into the bivouac, have dinner, and spend the night under the stars.
Day 2: Erg Chegaga – Lake Iriki – Taliouine – Taroudant – Agadir
A magical awakening to the sunrise over the dunes, followed by breakfast at the camp. Return by 4x4 via Lake Iriki to Foum Zguid, with a mint tea break. Lunch in Taliouine before heading back to Agadir, arriving in the late afternoon.
